Seeking New Host for 2026 Optimist North Americans

We regret to inform you that Martinique has officially withdrawn as the host of the 2026 Optimist North American Championship due to unforeseen challenges.

As a result, we are urgently seeking a new host to ensure this important championship proceeds as planned.

IODA is actively reaching out to members and exploring alternative options, and we strongly encourage North American Members to consider this unique opportunity to showcase your region and support youth sailing.
