Important Information Regarding the 2025 IODA AGM – Registration, Proxies & Proposals

Dear Members,

We would like to inform you that registration for the 2025 IODA Annual General Meeting (AGM) is now open to:

• Official Representatives or Proxy
• Observers

Please note that all registrations must be received no later than 09:00 (CET) on Saturday, 29 June 2025.

Important Clarification on Proxies

We would like to remind Members that the proxy form is not used to appoint the Official Representative of your National Class Association.

A Proxy is only to be used in the exceptional case where no one from your Member organization is able to attend the AGM. In that case, you may delegate your voting rights to another IODA Member by submitting a Proxy form.

Class Rule, Article & Championship Condition Proposals Now Available

The proposals for amendments to the IODA Class Rules, IODA Articles, and IODA Championship Conditions are now available on the IODA website. We encourage all Members to review these documents in advance of the AGM.

We appreciate your patience regarding the publication of these proposals. The delay was due to the time required to complete the necessary technical documentation following consultation with World Sailing.
