Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) – Cancellation Notice

Dear Members,

Following the official notice sent on 13 March regarding the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), with a single agenda item, we are writing to inform you that the Executive Committee has decided to cancel the EGM.

The validity of the agenda item remains of importance to IODA and there continues to be value in Members discussing and deciding upon enabling hybrid AGMs to allow a greater participation of members in the governance of the Class, utilizing modern technology available rather than a physical presence.

However, it has been decided that the proposal can be discussed during the upcoming AGM in Portorož (SLO), scheduled for 3 July 2025.

We thank all members who took the time to share their views, both in support and against the EGM and we look forward to continuing the discussion in July.
