Message from Giulietti

The following message from Giulietti was share las night in social media:

Dear Sailors and Giulietti users, during a measurement check in New Zealand it emerged that our Sprit end fitting(see photo) was found to be non-compliant with rule 3.5.4.3 as it measures 15mm instead of 13mm. This was our fault and until today no one had noticed and obviously neither had we. This does not bring any advantage in terms of performance. 

From this week, all new spikes will comply with rule 3.5.4.3 and we ask you to spend 5 minutes to modify the one you have. It is very simple and all you have to do is filing or use sandpaper to remove 1 mm from the circumference which will bring the part to 13 mm. That’s all.
When we are present at upcoming events it will be done directly by us.
