IODA Measurement Clinic at NAMS - It's FREE!

The IODA Technical Committee wishes to announce that a Measurement Clinic will be hosted in Nassau, Bahamas during the 2022 Optimist North American Championship pre-event days on November 8 - 9, 2022.

 If you are interested in learning more about the Optimist Class Measurement, becoming a measurer in your country, or wish to know more about working with IODA in the future, this seminar is for you!

Day 1 will involve instruction on how to measure equipment (Sail, spars and foils) and also instruct how to be an equipment inspector at an event. 

Day 2 will enable all participants to participate in equipment inspection for the first day of pre-event measurement at the 2022 Optimist North American Championship.

Dates: November 8 - 9, 2022

Fee for Clinic: FREE!

Location: Nassau Yacht Club

Start Time each day: 10:00 

Finish Time each day:  6:00

Lunch will be provided for all participants. 

Accommodation and Travel/Flights are the responsibility of the participant.

The Nassau Yacht Club has arranged special rates for clinic participants with Comfort Suites. Participants are welcome to stay on at the venue to assist with measurement during the event alongside the IODA Technical Committee if they so wish, at their own cost.
