Registrations Open for the 2024 Optimist European Team Racing Championship

Acceptance of Invitations Deadline: 28 August
IODA is pleased to announce that registrations are now open for the 2024 Optimist European Team Racing Championship. This event is set to take place from October 15th to 20th, organized by the Monaco Yacht Club.
 
The championship will feature teams composed of four sailors, with a requirement that no more than two sailors per team can be of the same gender. 
The top 15 countries from the European Nations Cup ranking plus the host country have been invited to participate in this exclusive event. The invited countries are as follows:
 
1. Italy (ITA)
2. Greece (GRE)
3. Spain (ESP)
4. Poland (POL)
5. Croatia (CRO)
6. Turkey (TUR)
7. France (FRA)
8. Germany (GER)
9. Sweden (SWE)
10. Portugal (POR)
11. Ukraine (UKR)
12. Austria (AUT)
13. Switzerland (SUI)
14. Israel (ISR)
15. Denmark (DEN)
16. Monaco (MO)
 
Invited teams must confirm their intention to participate in writing to regattasecretary@optiworld.org on or before August 28th . If a country declines the invitation, the next country in the ranking will be offered the opportunity to participate.
