Registration is Open Now for Virtual OptiOrange 2021

The organizers St.Petersburg Yacht Club and Real Club Náutico de Valencia announce the launch of the virtual regatta OptiOrange Valencia 2021.

The regatta will be held on the base of the Virtual Regatta online sailing race simulator from March 4th.

OptiOrange Valencia 2021 will be the first international children's virtual regatta. Athletes up to 15 years old (inclusive) are invited to participate. Thus, all yachtsmen should be registered in the "Optimist" class and sail on a Laser class yacht (ILCA).

An online simulator training is a good opportunity to maintain shape before the sailing season resumes. In addition, in Virtual Regatta, an athlete can work out tactics and strategy in conditions as close to reality as possible. At the same time, participation in virtual races makes it possible to feel the excitement of the contest and the competitive spirit.

The registration will end on February 28th.

IMPORTANT!
Number on the sail = User's pseudonym/nickname. A mobile phone number for the group in WhatsApp shall be specified.

In order to participate in the tournament, you need to:

• have minimal experience and understanding of online simulators of sailing races;
• register by link;
• download the game “Virtual Regatta InShore” in AppStore/Google Play or play online on the website https://www.virtualregatta.com/en/inshore-game/;
• follow the instructions of the regatta organizers in the WhatsApp (the chat will be created at the end of registration) and monitor updates on OptiOrange social media.

The program, schedule, dates and duration of the Regatta may vary depending on the total number of participants registered.

One of the racing series of each competitive day will be shown live with professional commentary on OptiOrange information resources.

The winners of the regatta will receive valuable prizes.
