Optimus Program Expands Coaching Education with a Clinic in Oman

Mussanah, Oman, 21 January 2025 — The Optimus Coach Development Program continues to strengthen global coaching standards with a successful clinic held in Mussanah, Oman. Sixteen participants from Oman, Iraq, India, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye took part in this intensive training under the expert guidance of lead coach Maarten Treuren.

Over three days, the participants engaged in a structured curriculum designed to enhance their coaching skills. The clinic covered key topics such as safety procedures, effective coaching strategies, technical sailing skills, and race preparation. This initiative is part of the Optimus Program’s commitment to developing a globally recognized and highly skilled network of sailing coaches.
