Seeking IODA Treasurer

Traditionally the role of Treasurer for IODA has been undertaken by one of the Elected Vice Presidents. However, in accordance with Article 7 of the IODA Articles of Association the Executive Committee has the authority to appoint an independent Treasurer to join the Executive as a non-voting member and now wishes to do so.

This is a voluntary role working with the Secretary General of IODA and the IODA Executive Committee on all matters financial.

IODA are seeking someone with sound financial knowledge and experience and an understanding of working with international volunteers in a sporting setting.

The Treasurer will be expected to attend IODA Executive meetings, the IODA AGM in person and be available by email and/or skype to the Secretariat and Executive at other times. 

Expenses will be paid in line with those of other members of the IODA Executive Committee. 

Applicants from IODA’s Asian Region would be particularly welcomed.
