Yesterday was a long day again out on the water, but this time in good breeze. The fleet completed three races in shifty 1012 kts N wind. There were temporary lulls of 56 kts and fresh 1516 kts periods as well. Racing was really tactical and reading the shifts was key to earning low scores.

Today was another difficult day for the race committee. The fleets launched on time in the hope of catching up on the races that were lost but the wind died and all boats returned to shore. After a couple of hours the light breeze showed signs of stabilising and the boats went back out. One more race for each fleet was completed but again the breeze died and the boats are back and sails are going into the rack.

Tomorrow stronger winds are forecast and hopes are high for at least 2 races for each fleet.
