This year, Article of Association 13 - Annual General Meeting - (k) shall apply and the dates referred to in that article have been amended by the IODA Executive Committee as follows:

This year, Article of Association 13 - Annual General Meeting - (k) shall apply and the dates referred to in that article have been amended by the IODA Executive Committee as follows:

  • Article 16 - Proposals from Members to alter the Class Rules shall be received by the Secretariat by July 31 2010.
  • Article 17 - Proposals from Members to alter the Articles of Associations and Conditions for Championships shall be received by the Secretariat by July 31 2010.
  • Article 13.d - The Agenda for the AGM is to be sent out by October 15 2010.

Article 13.k:
When the IODA World Sailing Championship is held other than at the normal time (July/August) or in a year when the Championship does not take place, the dates referred to in Articles 13, 16 and 17 may be amended at the discretion of the Executive Committee.

 

Article 16. ALTERATIONS AND ADDITIONS TO THE CLASS RULES:
Any request by a member or the Executive Committee for an alteration to the Class Rules is to be received by the Secretariat on or before 15 January. The Secretariat must then on or before 15 February send a copy of the proposal to each Member and furthermore on or before 15 March send the Technical Committee's comments thereon to each Member.

 

Article 17. ALTERATIONS AND ADDITIONS TO IODA ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION AND CONDITIONS FOR CHAMPIONSHIPS:
Any request by a member or the Executive Committee for an alteration to these Articles, and Conditions for lODAWorld, Continental, specific continental championships or regional championships recognised by IODA is to be sent to the Secretariat on or before 15 January. The Secretariat must then on or before 15 February send a copy of the proposition to each member and furthermore on or before 15 March send the Executive Committee's comments thereon to each member.
