2023 Optimist Class Rules are Posted

Thirteen Class Rule changes were proposed and approved by the members at the 2022 AGM in Bodrum, Turkey last July.

World Sailing, as the governing body of the sport of sailing, must review and approve the Class Rule changes before they can be implemented.This process has recently been completed and the 2023 Optimist Class Rules are now posted and will be implemented across the organization. 

The 2023 Optimist Class Rules come into effect on February 20, 2023.

They can be found on the IODA Website located here. All changes or new rules in the 2023 Optimist Class Rules are indicated in red type.
