SOUTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP 2011

Algarrobo, Chile

We would like to inform our members that the Notice of Race of next year's IODA South Americans in Chile is now online at: http://www.optiworld.org/11samnor.pdf The championship will be held in the bay of Algarrobo, 100 km from Santiago, the capital city of the country. The venue will be the Club de Yates Algarrobo and the teams will be accommodated at hotel Pacífico.

Entries are open to all South American and North American members, with different quotas depending on the country. However, non American members can ask for places, which will be allocated at the discretion of the IODA Executive Committee and only if by December 15th the number of registered sailors has not reached the maximum permitted according to the Notice of Race. For teams with 10 or more sailors, the gender quota applies, and 25% (rounded upwards) of the number of sailors shall be of the opposite gender. See the NoR for more details.
