NOTICE TO MEMBERS - Change in NAMS20 Dates

It has come to the attention of IODA that the dates that were confirmed at the 2019 AGM for the 2020 Optimist North American Championship taking place in Cancun, MEX are in direct conflict with the World Sailing Conference in 2020.  This would have made it difficult to obtain the technical officials required for the championship.

As a result, the Organizing Committee has agreed to move the dates of the Championship from October 18 – 25^th to October 11 – 18, 2020 (Sunday to Sunday). The change in dates has been approved by the IODA Executive Committee.

We would like to thank the Organizers of the 2020 North American Championship in Cancun, MEX for accommodating the change in dates

Please ensure in your travel plans for the coming year that you take into effect the new dates of the 2020 North American Championship.
