NOTICE TO MEMBERS - Digital Numbers

The IODA Technical Committee receives much valuable communication from Members each day, including questions regarding the use of digital numbers on sails.   

Following a consultation on this issue, IODA Technical Committee has taken the clarifying position that as there is currently nothing in WS RRS or the IODA Class Rules to prohibit the use of legible digital numbers on sails, it is valid to use  legible Digital Sail Numbers on Optimist sails.  

The IODA Technical Committee is always open to get feedback from Members,  and welcomes discussion  at the next TC Workshop.
