NOTICE TO MEMBERS - 2018 AGM PROPOSALS

The 2018 AGM is taking place on Monday, September 3rd during the 2018 Optimist World Championships hosted by the Famagusta Nautical Club in Cyprus. 

In accordance with Article 17, Alterations and Additions to IODA Articles of Association and Conditions for Championships, the Secretariat shall send to its’ Members a copy of any propositions from any Members or the Executive Committee on or before March 15th.  

By the Jan 15th deadline, IODA received seven Proposals from our IODA Members. They are numbered from 18-01M to 18-05M (3 members have the same worded proposal).

The Executive Committee has proposals for one Class Rule Change from the Technical Committee(018-TC01) and another twenty proposals regarding the IODA Articles and Championship Conditions (18-01 to 18-20).  

A draft AGM Meeting Schedule is being posted with this notice that you can use for planning purposes. The AGM Agenda and additional information will be sent to our Members on or before May 15, 2018.

Just a reminder that the submission deadline for bidding for the 2020 IODA World Championship and/or any Continental Championship is May 1, 2018.
