Happy New Year!

On behalf of the International Optimist Dinghy Association (IODA,) we wish all Optimist sailors, IODA members, builders, families and friends around the globe a happy and healthy 2020.

With over 170,000 boats built and 10’s of thousands of Opti sailors in over 120 countries around the world, may we all enjoy another great year of Opti racing, learning, and most importantly making new life-long friends.

Our global family is built on the Optimist class values of fair play, respect, teamwork, integrity, inclusiveness, and caring for the environment.
