42nd Carnival Regatta 2016 Vilamoura

The 42nd Carnival Regatta hosted by CIMAV in Vilamoura, Portugal has concluded.  This is the first of three test events planned before the venue hosts the 2016 Optimist World Championship this June/July.  

Roko Mohr of Germany (GER13521)  took first place, followed closely by Mic Mohr (GER 112) and Manuel Ramos (POR 2634).  Good breeze held throughout the weekend providing generally optimum conditions for racing.

First girl in Gold Fleet was Beatriz Gago of Portugal (POR 2554) in 11th spot overall.
