Oman seeking a youth coach

COACH FOR OMAN

Oman Sail is a young, dynamic and fast moving organization founded in 2008. The main functions of Oman Sail is to promote Oman as an international tourist destination and create passion in sailing as a sport and as a career for young Omanis

Oman Sail is looking to employ a full time Youth Coach, who will be responsible for planning and executing the training and sailing development of the youth (8-18 yrs old) within the Youth Sailing pathway with main focus on the junior racing sailors (11-15 yrs) and the Optimist class.

Must have a senior instructor certificate (or equivalent), with good knowledge of English, good management and communication skills, work experience with junior and youth sailors and delivery of results in the Optimist class and willing to work weekends and long hours, travel within Oman and abroad to sailing competitions and training camps.

Must be enthusiastic, with creative spirit in order to overcome unexpected situations with unique solutions and prepared to function within a culturally diverse environment, having sailing racing background will be considered as a plus
