European Inter-Club Team Racing
Mos Ilawa from Poland are the 2005 champions.
In the semi-final the Poles, who had been seeded second after the round robin, defeated third seeds Nautical Club of Piraeus (GRE) 2-0 while Swedish champions Hjuviks Y.C. beat C.V. Bracciano (ITA) 2-1. In the finals Mos Ilawa beat the Swedes 2-1. Final Ranking:

At the prizegiving it was announced that the GrandOptical eyewear company
had agreed
to sponsor this unique inter-club championship
for a further four years.
Their sponsorship covers all expenses except travel for five sailors
and a coach. Teams must qualify in a national inter-club team racing
championship, which has stimulated great interest in this
discipline
in many countries.
