TECHNICAL MATTERS

Makers' Marks
Attention is drawn to ISAF Regulation 20.3 (c) (1) (Click Part IV):

"One builder's mark, which may include the name or mark of the designer, may be placed on each side of the hull, and one maker's mark may be displayed on each side on spars and on each side of other equipment. Such marks shall fit within a 150mm x 150mm square;"
Note that this ISAF Regulation states what is permitted. In addition IODA Class Rules 3.3.1.4 and 3.4.1.5 state what is essential.

Measuring Tillers
Attention is also drawn to the definition of the length of the tiller and its extension in CR 3.4.2.4. On "new style" rudders the length of the rudder head is not included (it only was on some old-style rudderrs because it was impossible to measure the tiller alone).
